I am Fahad Ahmad Siddiqi, an Advocate High Court and hails from Lahore, I am a third generation Lawyer, as my grandfather was the public prosecutor of Lahore, in ****, and is inclined to be your associate in Pakistan. a brief introduction of mine is mentioned herein below: I was enrolled as an Advocate in **** , while having general practice for over more than * years i have shifted my attention to the Family Law Jurisdiction in ****, I moved to family law jurisdiction with an aim to introduce the doctrine of shared parenting for divorce affected minor children that are denied appropriate access towards their non-custodial parents during child custody litigation. Prior to my initiative a child involved in a custody litigation was allowed a mere*hours once or twice in a month access towards his non-custodial parent once in a month and that too to be held within the Court premises. I filed the first of its kind public interest litigation in the Honourable Lahore High Court through Writ Petition bearing No. *****/**** where Judicial reforms were initiated in the Province of Punjab in the Family Jurisdiction. A Division Bench was constituted by the than Honourable Chief Justice Lahore High Court and accordingly reforms were initiated in family justice system in the Province of Punjab, during which a report was also called from the Chairperson of the Applied Psychology Department of the Punjab University, on the subject of Two hours once a month visitation at the premises of court that is allowed to the Non-Custodial Parents by a Family / Guardian Court and psychological perspective on implications of this short visit for the child, authored multiple articles on the subjects associated with child custody litigation in Pakistan to cause awareness and the same are published in multiple law web portals and websites, for instance around ** of my articles are available https://courtingthelaw.com/author/fahad-ahmad-siddiqi/
