Review of Advocate Jawad Habib's Professional Conduct

My name is Farhan Ahmed from the beautiful city of Abbottabad. I want to share my personal experience regarding an issue I had, which was related to Appeals and Appellate. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a lawyer who made the whole process very difficult for me. I had no choice but to lodge a complaint against this advocate with the Pakistan Bar Council and a provincial bar association for professional misconduct.

After facing numerous hurdles in court, including delayed hearings and endless paperwork, I was extremely frustrated. This situation was exacerbated by the fact that the advocate in question, who I later found out was listed in the SJP Lawyers Directory, was less than professional in his conduct. His name is Advocate Jawad Habib.

It was a difficult time for me. I was losing faith in the legal system and was unsure of how to proceed with my case. I needed someone to guide me through the complexities of the legal process, particularly in the field of Appeals and Appellate, but instead, I found myself dealing with an advocate who was not only unprofessional but also lacked the basic understanding of how to treat his clients with respect.

I felt it was my responsibility to bring this to the attention of the Pakistan Bar Council as well as the provincial bar association for their consideration. Advocates have a certain code of conduct and level of professionalism they should adhere to, and in my experience, Advocate Jawad Habib did not meet those standards. I wanted to ensure that other individuals seeking legal aid would not have to undergo the same ordeal that I did.

Despite the obstacles I faced during this time, I am grateful for the relief I received from the Pakistan Bar Council and the provincial bar association after lodging my complaint. This reinforced my faith in the legal system and gave me the tasali that justice would indeed be served. I urge anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation to not hesitate in reporting any instances of professional misconduct to the relevant authorities.
